"bootrom yield" issue passive fix

Back in august there was a post about fixing 'yield' issues
https://www.crowdsupply.com/krtkl/snickerdoodle/updates/signs-of-life

and required a passive change. I've checked the github schematics and haven't seen any updates for a year. Are these changes planned to be put into the schematic? What about people with early versions of the snickerdoodle? Are they affected by this problem too?
Hi Shim,

Yes, we'll be updating the schematic when we have another release (the aforementioned passive changes are just being handled via a post-assembly rework at the moment).

We perform 100% QC on all snickerdoodles we ship so all previously delivered units have been tested and qualified. This particular issue is only affects a certain percentage of assembled boards due to manufacturing/part tolerances - some fall within spec, some slightly outside. This has been addressed so ALL units/parts will fall within spec moving forward, but we have no reason to believe any hardware in the field will experience any issues.

Of course, if anyone ever runs into any kind of problem with their snickerdoodle, they can always email us or post in the forum and we'll quickly work to get it resolved.

Hi Shim,

Also please note that the current fix that we've been shipping with to address the yield issue with rev 4.1 fabs does not alter the netlist.
It is a single jumper in parallel with an existing trace. That is why the schematic shows no changes.

We have created a rev 4.2 which includes that fix and has a few other slight improvements and when the finished units utilizing the rev 4.2 fab begin to ship I will push out an updated schematic for that.
You can always find the history of any revisions we have shipped in the obsoleted directory on GitHub going back to the first boards that shipped only to alpha customers.
