In our project using the Snickerdoodle Black we are wanting to have the PS inside of the Zynq-7020 control a small LCD using UART1 through the MIO 16 and MIO17 pins that come out on connecter J3. We are using the SD Card boot image for Ubuntu from the Krtkl download site. I have been attempting to modify the device tree to enable UART1, but every change I make it still does not show up upon rebooting.
Has anybody done this and what was the magic?
