Issue with one of the Alpha unit

Hi all,

My faithful rev3 alpha unit started having some startup issue. I often had problems powering it from USB only where the power led rapidly flash, however, now it's happening even from a 12V supply on the breaky breaky.

Any idea if this is fixable or should I consider my poor snickerdoodle fried?
