I have one piSmasher on order. If there is an opportunity to get an extra one without the two rows of outboard pins pre soldered on I could be interested in that.

Hi Glenn,
We'd prefer to keep custom/one-off baseboard builds to a minimum in order to keep the inventory management, assembly/setup, etc. nice and simple. This may be a possibility in the future but for right now all the piSmasher parts will be loaded. Removing those connector strips shouldn't be too big of challenge though...

Yeah - understood - that's cool. I recently purchased a Hakko FR300 so it should not be an issue. If it's a orderable option down the road that might be nice.
Indeed - if it's a common request we could always just not load those headers by default...
